Happy Holidays from our team here at the 'Mine!

Thanks to T1D peep Kayla Brown in Canada (who blogs at Kayla's Life Notes and runs Type 1 Memes) for this oh-so-apropos Elf reference.

We're taking two days off to chillax but will be back on Wednesday with our big Look Back at the Year 2017 in Diabetes, so stay tuned for that.

Mike wanted to note that although this season, his Christmas tree in Michigan isn't as decked out in diabetes gear as usual, he did manage to make one homemade ornament from a Tresiba insulin pen cap, an Afrezza inhaler and cartridge, and a Dexcom CGM sensor -- tied up all nicely with a strand of unused pump tubing.

Because, you know... even though we're on holiday, diabetes never takes one.

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to everyone in the Diabetes Community!
